    Just build some CANDU type reactor and burn the waste to do more energy

    I see a large expansion of industrial space travel within the next 50-100 which will broaden our options in the ways of final storage. We could for example store the waste in a passing asteroid that wont be anywhere near earth for the next 3000 years. After mining it for metals naturally.

    Great episode, guys. Just wanted to weigh in a little on the energy question. I live in Wyoming where, as in Kansas, we are getting wind turbines as well. I suspect Scott has probably experienced the might wind up here.

    Just as in Kansas, we have people whining about the 'natural beauty'. These are the same jerks that love the oil wells that are put up. Do they not recognize the cognitive dissonance they are experiencing?
